The Industrial Heat Recovery Support (IHRS) programme is a two phase competitive grant programme which aims to:
  • Increase industry confidence to invest in technologies to recover heat from industrial processes
  • Increase the deployment of such technologies in England and Wales
  • Grants are available for up to 30% of the capital per application, decreasing payback periods and increasing ROI
  • Total funding available equates to £18 million, £12 million designated capital expenditure and £6 million designated programme expenditure
